Annaly Mortgage upgraded to Top Pick at RBC Capital Mkts; tgt $23 (NLY) 18.19 : RBC Capital Mkts upgrades NLY to Top Pick from Outperform and maintains their $23 target price based on their expectation that NLY will be at the upper end of the peer group in the year ahead. The firm notes that average borrowing costs are expected to trend lower, while market rates should also remain low, supporting strong earnings performance. The firm believes that those calling for near-term underperformance of shares are missing the big picture.
