April 21, 2010 (FinancialWire) -- Generex Biotechnology Corp. (NASDAQ: GNBT) said it has established an action plan for obtaining cost reimbursement coverage for Generex Oral-lyn(TM), including the development of an insurance product that covers the costs of Oral-lyn(TM) and any additional and/or comparable diabetes products.
Some of the objectives in the action plan will include: the creation of a prospectus for use with Insurance Underwriters; the development of cost and risk assessment profile; identifying potential underwriters; and the creation of supporting actuarial and marketing materials.
In order to implement this program, the company has engaged the consulting services of David Brusegard, Ph.D., an individual with extensive experience in designing and marketing health related insurance and financial products.
The Generex Oral-lyn(TM) cost reimbursement plan will apply to existing and future regulatory approvals for Generex, as well as the company's United States Food and Drug Administration Expanded Access Treatment IND program.
The FDA's Treatment IND program allows companies to provide early access to investigational drugs for patients with serious or life-threatening conditions for which there is no satisfactory alternative treatment. Drugs that are granted approval by the FDA for the Treatment IND program must demonstrate the prospect of efficacy through clinical testing.
Under the Expanded Access Treatment IND program, Generex Oral-lyn(TM) will be provided to patients with serious or life-threatening Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes mellitus, with no satisfactory alternative therapy available for the treatment of diabetes, and who are not eligible to participate in the company's ongoing global Phase III pivotal clinical trial of the product.
Generex is engaged in the research, development and commercialization of drug delivery systems and technologies.

É uma das Biotecnológicas que sigo, tenho uma posição reduzida, entrei abaixo dos 0.40... tenho algumas dúvidas em relação a esta Generex, a real eficácia que possam ter os seus produtos, de utilização oral. Li alguns artigos e é apontada por alguns como uma empresa pouco séria no meio.A minha entrada deveu-se mais à subsidiária da Generex a Antigen Express, desenvolve vacinas no combate ao Cancro e doenças infecciosas. Parece-me mais interessante esse lado da Generex Biotechnology.

A um valor mais alto teria dúvidas em entrar nesta Generex, teve uma resistencia ali na casa dos $0.40, que agora quebrou, mas penso que continuará, por agora, rondar estes valores, em orbita dos 0.40.
Fechou hoje nos .412 pelo que sim hollie. Tem andado a rondar valores à volta dos 40.
Se bem que imensa gente diz que análise técnica em biotecnologicas não é aplicável. E outros ainda que dizem que análise técnica é uma treta.
Aqui vai:
1º - A evolução de cotação e evolução do momentum estão em perfeita sintonia.
2º - O momentum aponta para amanhã mais uma vaga positiva. Tendo passado hoje mesmo o valor zero. Quando isto acontece.. :)
3º - O Volume desde que a cotação e momentum entraram em modo bull que têm vindo a aumentar. Muito superior ao passado recente e mais importante verdinho.
4º - As bandas boolinger vão começar a estreitar, pelo que nessa altura estaremos na altura da convenção, poderá ser a ignição.
5º - Fez 2 dojis (21 e 24 Maio) e respondeu positivamente.
6º - No gráfico da cotação o traço preto e branco a grosso, neste momento está preto, o que é bear, já tem lá tocado nos ultimos dias pelo que será mais dia menos dia até ser superado e passar a branco. Duração do branco mais ou menos o mesmo tempo do último preto.
7º - Moving Average 20 = 0,38
Moving Average 50 = 0,45
Moving Average 200 = 0,57
Cotação = 0,412
Quebrando os .45 vai aos 60 num repâm.
Não quebrou. Aliás quebrou mas foi os .40 portanto vendi o mais rápido que pude.
