Zi Corporation provides intelligent interface solutions in Canada, the United States, and China. The company operates in two segments, Zi Technology and e-Learning. The company was formed in 1987 as Cancom Ventures, Inc. Subsequently, it changed its name to Multi-Corp, Inc. in 1990 and to Zi Corporation in 1997. Zi Corporation is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.

Zica shares jump on tech's inclusion in Motorola phone

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Zica Corp. shares leapt almost 17% to $2.64 in early action on Tuesday after the company said it's inked a deal to provide its Decuma Japanese handwriting recognition technology for use in Motorola's M1000 3G smartphone.
