- The Age of Gold (http://www.financialsense.com/fsu/editorials/2005/1219b.html), by Gary Robertson
Introdução:
Obviously most of the world believes our politicians can control the path that we have embarked upon, I don't. Personally I don't believe for one minute that we can continue along this economic path forever without having to pay a dear price in higher costs, increased taxation and reduced services. Governments cannot continue to print any amount of money they want, people cannot afford to keep borrowing, and time is not on anyone's side.
The Age of Aquarius according to some was officially ushered in on January 23 1997 at 17:35 GMT. Is that true? I don't know and there are many different opinions as to when it did or will begin. What we all know is that something has changed and if the Age of Aquarius stands for mass liquidity we can rest assured the world became very fluid in many surprising ways in a very short period of time.
The world is leaking like a sieve.
Yes there has been world-wide flooding, massive U. S. debt, proliferation of money around the globe, unexplained spending, no saving, enormous U. S. trade deficits, a housing boom in many countries, a technology boom and its bust, a flood of low interest rates, and the spreading of news unlike at any time in history. We could take any of these situations and visualize them as a huge fire hose soaking the entire world. Everything has been flooded and everything will have to be mopped up – where on earth do we begin?
If we are in the Age of Aquarius and we needed proof by virtue of liquidity in the form of money, debt, trade deficit, floods, hurricanes, news, or rising water; we have verification.
Have we entered a new age?
Abraços,
