Silverado (OTCBB: SLGLF) announced today that the President of its
wholly-owned subsidiary Silverado Green Fuel Inc., Edward J. Armstrong
has been awarded the 2004 Ronald Reagan Republican Gold Medal Award.
Mr. Armstrong was selected based upon outstanding leadership in
business and for displaying a commitment to President Ronald Regan's
vision for entrepreneurial business. Mr. Armstrong joins an elite group
of business and professional executives who were nominated to receive
the prestigious award.

"Mr. Armstrong has served as an Honorary Chairman of the Business
Advisory Council and has provided much needed support," said
Congressman and National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman
Tom Reynolds (R-NY). "This award could not have gone to a more
deserving candidate."
