Oil off lows; inventory weakness

Crude narrows decline after EIA shows modest increase in inventory, drop in distillate stocks.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Oil price losses were trimmed Thursday after a government report showed that crude oil inventories grew less than expected and distillate stockpiles, including heating oil, fell for the third straight week.

U.S. light sweet crude for November delivery fell 27 cents to $63.85 a barrel. Just before the Energy Information Administration released its report, the contract was down 72 cents at $63.40.

Crude oil inventories climbed by 1 million barrels from the previous week, versus forecasts for an increase of 2.1 million barrels, according to Reuters. At 306.4 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories remain above the upper end of the average range for this time of year.


Distillate fuel inventories fell by 3.4 million barrels last week, larger than the 1.7 million drop that the Reuters survey had anticipated.

Inventories fell for both low-sulfur distillate used for diesel engines and high-sulfur distillate fuel used for heating oil.

Total motor gasoline inventories fell by 3.4 million barrels last week, putting them in the lower half of the average range for this time of year. Gasoline inventories were expected to fall 1.6 million barrels last week, according to a Reuters survey.

EIA also reported that over the last four weeks, motor gasoline demand has averaged over 8.8 million barrels per day, or 2.4 percent below the same period last year.

Estas noticias em português até poderiam ser úteis e interessantes....., agora assim....é o mesmo que nada  ....ou não estou num fórum português?....

Acontece que os sites em português demoram a publicar dados como estes. Os sites americanos publicam na hora, mal são divulgados.

Mas tens toda a razão, vou passar a traduzir e a explicar tudo muito bem explicadinho, ou então...melhor para todos, não incomodo com noticias em inglês....Já agora, queres que te sirva um café?

Não falei em explicar tudo explicadinho....e não me dás novidade nenhuma ao dizer que os sites português demoram...., só pedi um comentário simples a pensar no melhor serviço do fórum, não devia ser só eu agradecer esse gesto....., mas devia  ser mais útil que outras coisas que se vêem aí ...., mas desculpa o imcomodo
