Wow, assim do nada?

There are a lot of fraud and scam in Forex market as in other businesses. In this connection most of the law enforcement and regulatory agencies are fully aware of who is perpetrating Forex fraud and where they are located. But keep in mind that only by contacting EVERYONE that you can will get results.

In recent years there has been a sharp rise of Forex fraud and scams. Consumers should be watchful to investment fraud, scams in the persons of companies that sell Forex currencies and commodity brokers claiming that customers can make "a lot of money with little risk". If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

The United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is the federal agency that regulates the trading of Forex currency, commodity futures and options contracts in the United States and takes action against firms suspected of illegally or fraudulently selling Forex currency, commodity futures and options.
Some ways to defraud of your money

- Immoral Stop Running/Hunting
You are told by Forex brokers that there is little or no stop running. This is one of their biggest and boldest fabrications. The truth is there is far more stop running in Forex than in futures, and possibly as much stop running as in the stock market.

- Wipe you out by "false" spike
Sometimes, theres very quick spike in candlestick on a brokers chart, but there is nothing happening on the others chart. A stop-loss is triggered simply due to that suspicious spike.

- Ban you if you can win their money
Probably you have heard that if you are winning regularly in Forex, you may be barred from trading. Is this true? Yes it is.

- Leaning
Brokers say they are charging you a 3 pip spread to trade the popular currency pairs. But in reality a broker may be making as much or more than 10 pips on your trades. He does this by skewing prices. Since you are not trading at an exchange, the broker can feed you any price he wants to feed you.

- Skewing price quotation
Forex brokers commonly lean the prices. A Forex broker can only give you the price of a currency as quoted to him by the bank through which he trades. Banks have differing prices for a currency. You never know what the real price is because there is no central exchange through which all prices flow.

Forex market and trading is UNREGULATED.

They register only for Money Landering procedure.

Read their contract.

Read margin requirements.

They may change margin at any time on your open positions.

They may block you from trading.

They may delay to close profitable positions, or shift price on profitible positions in they favor.

They may close your open positions and close your account, simply just CASH IN account.

What is your rights?

Ok here is my sad story regarding forex brokers and scams. I consider myself lucky as i have never lost any significant money but i have defintely been scammed. I think that most forex traders dont even know they are being scammed ie. bucket shops altering the spreads, stop hunting, freezing the price and platform. Most of these things we just pass off as coincidense believe me they are not they are carefully orchestrated. Brokers pull reports and all of their clients and their trading habits. They then profile you and deal with you accordingly. Its essential to understand how the various brokers work and their business models. Felix explained it quite well in one of his videos i suggest all traders have a look at his videos. If you want to succeed its essential that you understand what category your broker falls into. essentially ther are only two market makers /bucket shops and ECN brokers that pass the real price directly onto you and take a commission on every deal. By far the most dishonest are the bucket shops some more than others. Do not believe their bull**** they tell you they only profit off the added spread and they fix the spread under all conditions. That is a dead giveaway as during volatile markets its impossible to keep the spread constant someone along the line has to pay the difference and believe me it isnt your broker. So they will find every way to nail you because if they dont they lose .

Thats why they dont like news traders because things move way to quick and if you get it right and they fill you they land up making a loss .Remember its not a real market when dealing with a market maker they are creating the market there arent necesarily buyers and sellers at a given price so they create a price hence the name market makers. Thats not to say that ECN's are totally above board they also manipulate the spreads from time to time but its defintely more fair and transparent. The downside with an ECN is thats its really hard to get filled during news , liquidity drops ie first come first serve so you are lucky to get filled dont ***** and moan if an ECN doesnt fill you during news they arent scamming you its just the way the system works.

Anyway hear are some of my brokers

1. FXCM (bucket shop) - slip you bad fills, trade against you, widen spreads, freeze platform. i wouldnt say FXCM are a scam they just now how to really screw you so you dont know u have been screwed.(masters)

2. FXDD (bucket shop) - slip really bad during news, requotes, freeze platform

3. ODL securities (bucket shop)- slip really bad during news, requotes, freeze platform, dealing desk , bad customer service - bunch of twits. they slipped me so bad and wouldnt let me close.

4. Profinum - (bucket shop) Scam- real bad scammers, got good fills initially during news and normal trades. then games started. Lucky to have got my money out

5. FX SOL (bucket shop)- Scam - stay away bad bad scammers - defintely no fills during news, freeze platform , high spreads. everything they tell you in their offering is exactly the opposite.

6. ACM (bucket shop) - i must say these guys arent bad , they used to fill me but spreads went crazy during news and then they stopped filling me after i made too much profit. I was told i was arbitrage trading (risk free trade). Overall i think if you position trade with them you will be ok. definitely more above board then the rest

7. MB TRading (ECN) - i dont have a large account with them but they fill me well , dont get filled much on news but great for after spike trading - i agree with felix they are definitely the best of a bad bunch.

8. AvaFx (bucket shop)- these guys were amazing initially i got unbelievable fills and closed trades lightning fast. Then i made too much money and the games started. I have closed my account now. Otherwise not too bad. customer service was quite dissapointing.

9. Forex Yard - (bucket shop) - slip you ,bad fills, trade against you, widen spreads, freeze platform

10.Velocity 4X -(bucket shop) - same as FXDD slip really bad during news, requotes, freeze platform, trade against you.

11. Delta Trading - (bucket shop) - these guys werent too bad they have a mixture of fixed spread and ECN type. Their problem is liquidity they dont have enough providers. Fills during news were hit and miss sometimes got good fills other times slipped badly. Customer service ok , overall not a bad option.

As you can see i have had my share of brokers. My preferance is to go with an ECN broker for after spikes and normal position trades, high spreads will kill you and eat your profits. Try and find a bucket shop that fills for news trades but dont put too much money in. Make your money and when they start playing games get out. They will nail you eventually.

Anyway thats my 5 cents worth. Take heed from my mistakes dont be misled by these sweet talking idiots at the end of the day they are just trying to make a buck out of you, dont believe a word they say.

I hope this information assists you in making a decision on your next broker.

I learned a while ago that brokers trade against your account. The way it works is like this... when you are profiting they delay the price a few pips so that if you close the trade they earn those pips. On the other hand, if you are losing they present the price very quickly and also a few pips ahead so that they also earn those pips. This is the main reason why is so hard to make money. They are always widening the gap.

So, when an account is close to have a margin call, trades do not reach the number they are closing the trade matching the one is in the chart.
Also, the price in the charts is not the real price and this is the reason why the brokers have a window to trade against you.

I have been told that the window can easily be 30 to 70 pips in normal market conditions and up to 200 to 300 pips in volatile market conditions. Now, getting into the situations reported by Felix and Rob it goes like this:
Sometimes the program (platform) does not handle the prices as the charts do and as a consequence a real price is reported into the client’s account. Another part of the equation is that a volatile market condition do not necessarily has to happen during news times, they can happen at any time. This is why even though the charts are not showing a 200+ price difference the account’s trade is. Technically, the broker can argue that the price was indeed at that price at that moment but they are bound by the fact that they say the price shown by the platform is the one they honor. On the other hand, they can go to the contract and say they do not have to honor the price because it happened during a volatile market condition.

They win, you lose. They have everything figured out. The only way to bring them down is by public exposure, do not try any other way. If one of the brokers is getting to much public embarrassment they will just go under with everyone’s money. If you happen to have your money in one of them, get it out before they disappear.

Sometimes, the broker will prefer to pay a client his money back instead of going out of business to set it up with another name.

Just 3 months ago I got Capitalex.com (a company that exchanged e-gold money) out of business because they took over $1675 dollars from me. I got my money back but the other people they robbed didn’t. Count on me, I will tell you how I did it.

Easy Forex is operating agents and afilates that brings them customers. Those agents get payed 10% of what their clients have lost .

This is how it works:
When the customer deposit, the agent get payed 10% of the deposit.

When the customer leaves E.F:
If the customer left with winnings, the agent have to return the 10%, and is also get fined by 10% of this customer's winnings.
If the customer left them with losses, the agent will have to return 10% of what the customer withdrawal .
if the customer leaves break even, the agent returns the initial 10% and get left with nothing.
and of course, the typical case when the customer lose his account, the agent gets to hold his 10% commission.

This is according to the lawsuit, that is still examined in court.

Personally, I always suspected them to be lousy bucket shop. I guess it was their tasteless over aggressive advertisement.

Why is it advisable to open your account with a European broker instead of a North American or Swiss broker ?

1. Quality: European brokers, in order to obtain a broker's licence from their local banking regulator, need to meet SIGNIFICANTLY more requirements than North American or Swiss brokers, and need to maintain higher operational quality standards. For example, WH SelfInvest must maintain 2 auditors. One of these auditors will regularly check that the company delivers the execution speed, service level, commission charges, etc it promises clients. Thus clients can rely on an independent quality control.

2. Differences of opinion: If an accountholder is really unhappy about something and we cannot come to a gentleman's agreement to solve the issue, accountholders have the possibility to submit their complaint to the ombudsman of the local banking commission (the CSSF). The ombudsman will contact us on your behalf to help settle the issue. If you have a difference of opinion with a North American broker it is extremely difficult and expensive to get the issue settled to your satisfaction. Even worse, we have several clients that have been verbally insulted when they complained to their North American broker.

3. Insurance: The governments of several European countries have insurance schemes in place covering their citizens if they open an account with a financial institution which has a European passport. A North American broker does not have a European passport and is thus not covered by such government insurance schemes.

4. Risk: Swiss brokers are allowed to keep client monnies on their own account. Client monnies thus become part of the broker's balance sheet. This increases risk significantly. Creditors can stake a claim to the money and all clients are co-responsible for losses.

I am interested to trade forex but i need to know more details about your brokerage service, please answer the following questions:

Thank you for your inquiry  concerning the possibilities to open a trading account with our company.
Unfortunately, and due to a change in legislation in Switzerland since April 1st 2008 the Forex Trading companies here are no longer allowed to accept FX clients who open accounts diretcly with the company unless they apply for a full banking license.

As a consequence, our company has decided to close its Foreingn Exchange activities in Switzerland and to transfer the existing clients to our sister company in Cyprus which operates with a full license of the Cypriot authorities under the brand FxPro (http.www.fxpro.com).
We would recommend you to open an account with Fxpro which offers the same trading conditions as we were.

We will inform Fxpro of your interest , so please feel free to contact them. They will do their best to assist you in the account opening procedures

We wish you a happy trading.
