5:23PM Juniper forecasts flat Q3 sales and profits (JNPR) by Rex Crum
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Juniper Networks (JNPR) said Thursday it expects to post third-quarter sales of $165 million and pro forma profit of 3 cents a share. Both figures would be flat with the company's second-quarter results, but above previous analysts' consensus estimates of $162 million in revenue and profit of 2 cents a share. Juniper CFO Marcel Gani said the company expects revenue to be flat due to a traditionally weak period for business in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
