"Goodmorning...There is some concern out there over a lack of volume...and certainly it shows more conviction with volume being a component of any move. As noted yesterday, all the indices have pushed above the descending trendline which many technicians would say that this behavior has reversed the intermediate-term downtrend. If the S&P can break above the previous high of 1163 the bulls will certainly have a better case going forward. We will likely have to wait several weeks before drawing any conclusions, but our belief is that we remain in a primary uptrend, and that the odds have tilted towards better short-term trading action for the markets."
