Health-care products maker's profit beats Wall St. estimates by a penny, aided by weaker dollar.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Johnson & Johnson reported higher third-quarter earnings Tuesday as the maker of health-care products benefited from the weaker dollar and sales of a new treatment for clogged arteries.
The company, based in New Brunswick, N.J., reported a profit of $2.1 billion, or 69 cents per share, up from $1.7 billion, or 57 cents, a year ago.
Analyst estimates ranged from 66 to 70 cents per share, with an average forecast of 68 cents, according to Reuters Research.
Shares of J&J (JNJ: up $0.55 to $49.79, Research, Estimates) rose 1.9 percent in pre-market trading on ECN
