"Goodmorning...All of the indexes closed ABOVE the descending trendline which suggest a change in the intermediate-term downtrend that has been in place since mid January. This change in character was certainly not expected by most on the street. Remember, just a short 3 weeks ago the market had violated the 200-day moving average and many were concerned about rising interest rates and oil prices. Those concerns remain, but for now the glass appears to be half full. Short-term it would not come to a surprise to see some sort of pause in the market, but it certainly looks like the market will march higher over the short-term. It is too soon for the bulls to claim victory over the intermediate downtrend, however it would be hard to argue that the burden of proof now rest on the bears."

Your new stock pick this morning is Secure Computing (Nasdaq:SCUR) with a target of $12.00 and a stop-loss at $8.75. A big breakout day yesterday on good volume suggest a move higher remains from here...could rest for several days but we think the odds favor a move higher.
