The ECRI Weekly Leading Index (WLI) decreased to 121.1 from 121.4 the previous week. The index’s six-month smoothed growth rate, while declining half a percentage point to 4.3%, remains at a level that is indicative of strong growth and economic expansion. Most of the WLI’s components edged down this week or were unchanged, leading to the slight dip in the composite index.
