GoAmerica gets $14.5 mln in proposed financing

LOS ANGELES, Dec 19 (Reuters) - GoAmerica Inc. (NasdaqSC:GOAM - News), a provider of wireless communications, on Friday said it has obtained a commitment for $14.5 million in new private financing that will allow it to refocus its business.
In a statement the company, based in Hackensack, New Jersey" said its new strategy will enable it to expand on providing communications products for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
