Thank you for your interest in PFGBest and Forex trading!  I have copied and pasted your questions as well the responses below.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Who are your liquidity providers?

We use a number of liquidity providers on the interbank market including:

-ABN Amro

-Chase Manhattan

Are the traders funds held in trust in a separated account or they are used for operational expenses?

No traders funds are used for any operational expenses. Traders using our institutional services for Currenex or FX Platinum are charged a service fee to cover the cost of the price feed. This cost is itemized on the trader's statement and is specified and agreed upon before trading even begins. If you only have a foreign exchange trading account with PFG, your funds will be held in an aggregate funds account. If you hold both a futures and foreign exchange account, futures funds can be held in a separated account, neither of which are related to the accounts from which PFG pays out any operational expenses.

In case of insolvency or bankruptcy is there some kind of governamental fund to protect traders?

By holding funds in the aggregated customer account, or, in the case of forex and/or futures trading, these funds are not related to the accounts from which PFG pays it's expenses. So, in the case of bankruptcy or insolvency, all customer funds are protected and will be returned to them in a timely manner as is required by our main regulatory body.

In a case of a dispute between the trader and the broker what third party will solve the complaint issue?

The compliance department is the first contact in the case of a dispute between the trader and broker. The thoroughly investigate all claims between any two parties related to, or involved with, PFG. Clients who wish to dispute any trading information can file a complaint log and contact our compliance department via e-mail at [email protected]. In the event that any party contacts the NFA or any other regulatory government agency, the compliance department will act as the main contact between PFG and said agency. Most, if not all claims, are responded to within 24 hours, most are handled intra-day.

If I am a winning or a professional trader will I get my account limited and closed with winning trades cancelled?

There is no reason that any winning trades would be cancelled unless otherwise specified by the trader. The only case in which a trade would be closed is if the account is in margin call. The FX Express platform will systematically close out trades in an effort salvage client equity if available margin reaches zero, this is also the case if an account reaches a negative value in either the Currenex or FX Platinum (in most cases, however, Currenex and Platinum clients are contacted prior to trades closing; on the other hand the "zero debit risk function" on FX Express is fully disclosed to clients prior to trading).

You are a market maker with a dealing desk that may trade against my position?

Your forex trades are placed on the interbank market through an ECN (See definition of ECN below). Meaning that you are trading spot currency, or spot options if you trade on FX Platinum options, with banks using one of 3 possible price feeds. We do carry a front end dealing desk so that clients may call in to place trades so they may exit or enter positions in case of technology failure on their end or they are unable to reach their computer in time. The dealing desk may only place trades as the client specifies: stops, limits, entry and exit orders will be placed as the client specifies and all orders are placed on a recorded line in case a review is requested by the client or any regulatory agency.

Do you manipulate prices?

Because we use API's which receive prices from different banks, we cannot alter the prices that are offered. All prices are posted exactly as they are offered from the banks as PFG receives them.

Can I trade during news?

You may trade during news at your own risk. Please be advised that the FX Express platform only allows stops or limits 20 pips or greater from the current market price a few minutes before major reports are released. All orders are subject to volatility and may experience slippage according to the number of traders actively trading on the market during news reporting sessions.

Is scalping allowed?

Scalping is allowed at the trader's liability. All trades are, as stated above, potentially subject to slippage if actively trading during major news releases.

Are you an ECN?

PFG is an NFA registered FCM (Futures Commission Merchant), the definition of which you will find below. We do offer "ECN's" (Electronic Communication Networks) the most popular being the Currenex trading platform. For more information regarding the Currenex platform or any other of our foreign exchange trading products, please contact your PFG representative or you may contact the foreign exchange department via e-mail at [email protected].

ECN

Definition

Electronic Communication Network. An electronic system that brings buyers and sellers together for the electronic execution of trades. It disseminates information to interested parties about the orders entered into the network and allows these orders to be executed. Electronic Communications Networks (ECNs) represent orders in NASDAQ stocks; they internally match buy and sell orders or represent the highest bid prices and lowest ask prices on the open market. The benefits an investor gets from trading with an ECN include after-hours trading, avoiding market makers (and their spreads), and anonymity (which is often important for large trades).

Have a wonderful day!

Who are your liquidity providers?

Which platform would you like to use?

Are the traders funds held in trust in a separated account or they are used for operational expenses?

In case of insolvency or bankruptcy there are some kind of governamental fund to protect traders?

How U.S. Regulations Protect Your Funds

Pursuant to the Commodity Exchange Act and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulations, Rosenthal Collins Group LLC (RCG), a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), is required to treat all customers' money, securities and other property received to margin, guarantee or secure futures or options trades as customer property. RCG is also required to account separately for and segregate customer money, securities and property and not to commingle those assets with RCG's own operating assets. Customers' segregated assets cannot be used to margin any other person's trades. These segregation requirements apply to futures and options trades on exchanges located in the United States .

How RCG Helps Protect Your Funds

In compliance with segregation requirements, RCG does the following:

    * Customer funds are maintained at banks in clearly identified "segregated funds" accounts separate and apart from any other funds of RCG.
    * Each bank signs a written acknowledgment that (i) the segregated funds are held in the account in accordance with the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulations, and (ii) the bank will not hold, dispose of, or use any of the segregated assets for anyone, including RCG, other than the RCG customers.
    * The assets of one customer at RCG are not used to purchase, margin or settle the trades or positions, or to secure or extend credit, of any other customer.
    * RCG will invest segregated assets only in funds guaranteed by the United States or other allowed instruments. Investments may include U.S. Treasury securities, municipal securities, government sponsored agency securities, certificates of deposit or money market mutual funds.
    * Segregated assets are only invested through, or deposited in, customer segregated funds accounts.
    * RCG keeps a "real time" record of customer segregated funds and assets.
    * Every business day, the total amount of customer assets required to be segregated and the total amount of assets actually deposited in segregated accounts is calculated as of the close of the previous business day.

Funds of Customers Trading on Foreign Exchanges

CFTC Regulations also require RCG to maintain separate accounts, funds and assets sufficient to satisfy all of its current obligations to customers trading futures and options on foreign exchanges. FCMs, such as RCG, may not commingle set-aside funds1 with their own or their proprietary or noncustomer funds or accounts. Additionally, RCG cannot hold or commingle set-aside funds with those of customers trading on U.S. exchanges.

How RCG Helps Protect Funds of Customers Trading on Foreign Commodity Exchanges

RCG maintains set-aside funds in accounts identified as such, as required by CFTC Regulations. Each bank signs a written statement that acknowledges the bank understands of the nature of the funds in the account. As of the close of each business day, RCG computes its total set-aside funds, the secured amount1, and the set-aside funds' excess or deficiency. RCG maintains set-aside funds with the following:

    * Banks located in the United States
    * FCMs registered with the CFTC
    * Foreign banks designated or recognized by the CFTC as acceptable depositories for set-aside funds
    * Clearing organizations of foreign boards of trade
    * Members of foreign boards of trade

In general, a bank or trust company located outside the United States , whose commercial paper or long-term debt is rated in one of the two highest rating categories by Standard & Poor's Corporation or Moody's Investors Service, Inc., is recognized by the CFTC as an acceptable depository for set-aside funds. Since the secured amount at all times must be liquid and sufficient to cover all obligations to its customers trading on foreign markets, RCG invests those funds consistent with that requirement.

Regulatory Enforcement

The CFTC has consistently taken a stringent enforcement approach to its regulations requiring FCMs, such as RCG, to segregate customers' assets. RCG's compliance with the CFTC's segregation and related recordkeeping rules is monitored, not only by the CFTC, but also by the "self-regulatory organizations" (e.g. the Chicago Mercantile Exchange) to which ongoing examination and surveillance of RCG's compliance is delegated. Enforcement penalties resulting from violations of these requirements may be quite severe.

Hello,

How much are you looking to invest?  All of our accounts are held at Gain Capital group which is regularly audited by the NFA.  The NFA ID is 0339826.  Gain is one of the largest FX firms in the world.  We do not disclose 3 years of financials unless you are looking to open up an account of substantial size. Gain has about $50 million in customer funds.  Here is some more information on their investors as well: http://www.forex.com/company_investors.html.  FX Funds are not kept in segregated accounts but you money would be held at Bank Of America.  Our liquidity providers are some of the largest banks in the world including Barclays and Goldman Sachs.  Our prices are derived from over 10 banks.

Based on some of your concerns you may want to consider trading FX FUTURES that trade on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  Fx Futures are traded on a centralized exchange with transparent pricing.   FX FUTURES are typically easier to trade for scalpers because there is a universal price, volume, live bid/offers with market depth, and open interest.  You also receive faster fills when trading fx futures.

If you funded a futures account your money would be held in a segregated account at JP MORGAN CHASE BANK.   Also, since your account would be held at a CME Group member FCM which is backed by the exchanges safeguard system.  Thank you and you can contact us back for more information on either account type.

Regards,

Fx Support

baxter-fx.com

hank you for your e-mail. I have answered as many of your questions as possible below. Please give me a call on +353 1 6700455, and I can elaborate on any queries you might have. Or alternatively if you provide us with a phone number I would be happy to give you a call.

We are a best execution and technology group specialized in FX.

The Baxter system offers a live central order book with streaming multi bank rates on 70 currency pairs. Order Matching is instantaneous and unconditional a clear advantage over traditional quote request order routing systems. Additional order types such as limits, stops and OCOs give traders the option to improve execution through our depth of market and even implement micro strategies.

Liquidity is supplied by four tier one FX banks across of broad range of majors and emerging markets. Trades are cleared through 1 central counterparty which also simplfies many back office operations.
Some of our clearing counterpaties are:
    - Deutsche Securities
    - JPM Chase
    - RBS
    - Fortis Global Clearing

Customer feedback reflects that Baxter delivers a standard of trading functionality and best execution which is on a par with equity and futures exchanges around the world. I have attached a document with some general information about Baxter and also a list of the pairs available and the spreads you might expect to see.

You can  find some more detailed info on our ECN at www.baxter-fx.com. Attached is a general document on Baxter and a list of the currency pairs offered on the platform.

We are regulated by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority (IFSRA). Currently we do not hold customer funds but we are in the process of setting that service up. As soon as this is launched I will send you the appropriate detail. In the meantime as explained above you could open an account with one of our clearing partners who would be responsible for all the clearing and risk elements of your account.

We are audited by Fitzgerald and Associates.

The Baxter platform works as an Anonymous ECN. Therefore we do not disclose the names of our liquidity providers to customers and similarly we do not disclose the customer names to the liquidity providers. What I can say is that all our market makers are top tier worldwide FX banks.

In the case of a dispute between the trader and the broker the Irish Financial Ombudsman authorised by IFSRA would solve the dispute.

Of course no account would be cancelled or limited due to having too many winning trades.

We are not market makers on our system and do not take the other side of any customer trades. We do not manipulate prices, we run a live order book with full depth of market from all our market makers.

You can trade on the platform during local hours. We are open 24 hours a day from 21:00(GMT) on Sunday evening to 21:00 GMT on Friday evening, and have a fully functioning trading desk to support the customers at all times.

Scalping is permitted on the platform. We are an ECN.

I hope I have answered your questions adequately. Please contact me for any elaboration you require.

I look foward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Fergal.

gfsforex.com

Thank you for your interest in GFS Forex & Futures.  Below, please find my answers to your questions.

Hi,

I am interested to trade forex but i need to know more details about your brokerage service, please answer the following questions:

Who are your regulators?

GFS Forex & Futures is regulated in the US by the CFTC and the NFA.  We also have an office in Dubai which is regulated by the DFSA and the DIFC.

Do you have a licence number?

Our NFA # is 0316995.

Who is your auditor?

Can you send me attached in the mail documents that prove your compliance and the last 3 year audits?

We do not disclose that information.  You can visit the CFTC website at http://www.cftc.gov/marketreports/financialdataforfcms/index.htm to view the financial data for our company that is available to the public.

Who are your liquidity providers?

We sign non-disclosure agreements with our liquidity providers.  We have multiple liquidity providers as we use STP (Straight Through Processing) to execute 100% of all clients trades.  We never take the opposite side of any positions.

Are the traders funds held in trust in a separated account or they are used for operational expenses?

Customer funds are held at the Bank of America in non-segregated accounts.  We have a net adjusted capital of over $10.4 million which covers operational expenses.  Since we do not take the opposite side of any client trades, we have minimal operational risk.

In case of insolvency or bankruptcy there are some kind of governamental fund to protect traders?

Traders' fund are not government insured.

In a case of a dispute between the trader and the brooker what third party will solve the complaint issue?

All complaints can be brought to the NFA (National Futures Association)  As you can see on their website, http://www.nfa.futures.org/basicnet/, GFS has never had a complaint brought against us.

If i am a winning or a professional trader will i get my account limited and closed with winning trades cancelled?

Of course not.  Not only is that sort of behavior unethical and against our corporate culture, but since we use 100% STP execution, it is not even possible.

You are a market maker with a dealing desk that may trade against my position?

No, we are not.  We are registered and allowed to act as a market maker.  However, we do not have a dealing desk.

Do you manipulate prices?

We take the interbank price, and the only manipulation that occurs is the adding of a spread which is GFS' sole source of revenue.

Can i trade during news?

Yes, and you will notice that even during big news events, such as non-farm payroll, our spreads rarely widen.  I have heard from many traders that GFS is one of the best places for news traders.

Is scalping allowed?

Scalping is a tough term to define.  If you are referring to trading on a very short time frame, we have no issue with that.

Are you an ECN?

We cannot technically refer to ourselves as an ECN broker because we do add a spread to the interbank prices.  We use true STP execution for 100% of client trades.

I hope that the information above is helpful for you.  I have also included a brief brochure with some additional information about GFS.  Furthermore, if you have any questions about GFS or our trading platform, OperaFX specifically, or about the Forex market generally, please feel free to give me a call or send me an email at any time.  I am always happy to try and provide you with additional information.

Best Regards,

camafeu

Who are your regulators?

Securities products are offered through MB Trading, member FINRA, SIPC. MB Trading Futures, Inc. (MBTF) and 3DForex, LLC are CFTC registered FCMs and members of NFA.

Do you have a license number?

NFA: 0315389

Who is your auditor?

We are privately held and do not disclose or find it necessary to release this information.

Can you send me attached in the mail documents that prove your compliance and the last 3 year audits?

You can research our firm on NFA, CFTC and FINRA site â€" we do not send out auditing information.

Who are your liquidity providers?

For securities MB Trading clears with Penson Financial Services; Penson plays an important role as a clearing broker dealer, offering fully disclosed and omnibus clearing services to banks and broker dealers. They have direct relationships with Depository Trust Company (DTC) and National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) in New York . Capitalized through an affiliation with a Texas life insurance group with assets in excess of $200 million and equity capital of over $100 million, Penson has the financial strength to invest in the people and technologies that make this kind of tailored, flexible service possible.

For Forex , MB receives liquidity from over a dozen anonymous providers.

Are the traders funds held in trust in a separated account or they are used for operational expenses?

MBTF is insured with a Fidelity Bond 14 from a member company of American International Group, Inc (AIG), which protects the assets of MBTF against loss resulting from fraudulent acts committed by the management of employees of MBTF. In the unlikely case from various types of fraud, theft, or embezzlement the Bond offers the protection up to $1,000,000 per occurrence.

Another feature of the fidelity bond is the 'Forgery or Alteration Agreement' covers loss resulting from forgery of a signature or alteration involving most types of negotiable instruments. Also, losses resulting from written instructions directed towards the insured that have been altered, or bear a false signature, are covered.

However, please be noted that the bond does not insure against risk exposure on market loss.

From an accounting and operating standpoint, customer’s non-margined Forex funds and MB Trading Futures, Inc.’s (“MBTF”) operating funds are separately maintained.  MBTF maintains a separate account at Wells Fargo Bank, a federally insured bank, for the exclusive benefit of customers in which Forex funds that are not used to satisfy margin or trading requirements will be deposited for safekeeping.  Forex funds that are held in the separate account will not be used in the day-to-day operations of MBTF. In a case of a dispute between the trader and the broker what third party will solve the complaint issue?

Arbitration information: https://www.mbtrading.com/fx/secure/doc/14.pdf

If I am a winning or a professional trader will I get my account limited and closed with winning trades cancelled?

No, MB Trading is not a deal desk, we do not benefit from the losses or profits of a client. We charge a commission per trade instead of taking the other side of the trade like a deal desk.

Fixed spreads are a way for FCMs (Futures Commission Merchants) to mark up or mark down the best bid or offer. FCMs do this to hide their fee into the price of the currency pair instead of displaying their best quote. Common sense should tell you that no one really offers commission-free trading, so when you see an FCM claim they have “no commissions,” that should be a red flag. So how are they getting paid? It's simple; they're making money by building a markup/markdown into the spread.

Our FCM MB Trading Futures, Inc. has nothing to hide. We offer true, tighter spreads with no markups/markdowns and openly display a low commission rate. Commissions are based on total dollar amount of the executed order at the rate of $5 per 100,000 traded, each side. There are four types of commission calculations one must perform, demonstrated by the following four examples to buy 10 lots†.

You are a market maker with a dealing desk that may trade against my position?

We do not operate a deal desk or trade against your orders. We utilize Straight Through Processing (STP), sending your orders to various qualified destinations and eliminating the potential for a markup.

Do you manipulate prices?

Answered above.

Can I trade during news?

Yes, but I request you please read the following: http://efxgroup.com/about-news-trading.php

Is scalping allowed?

All trading styles are encouraged, including scalping! The trading style you choose is your decision and we will not interfere.

Are you an ECN?

MB Trading offers direct access STP and ECN trading. Our powerful execution system incorporates multiple liquidity feeds that display directly on the system. STP (Straight Through Processing) technology allows our customers to place orders that match off electronically with these providers at increments as low as 1/10th of a pip, without interacting with a "middle man." Customer orders will execute against one another, eliminating the need to only fill orders against our providers quotes. The technology facilitates best execution for investors/traders and generates price competition.

Velocity4x

Velocity4x = FOREX.com

FOREX.com is a registered Futures Commission Merchant (NFA ID #0339826) and a member of the National Futures Association. Please visit the below link for the NFA site and click on Broker/Firm Information (BASIC) to review FOREX.com's record as an NFA member. In terms of our compliance and audits, you will be limited to the information listed on the two web sites of the organizations listed above as we are a privuately traded company.

We are audited by the NFA as well as Deloitte and Touche. Our liquidity providers are private, but I can quote this from our web site:

"Our strong liquidity relationships with over a dozen of the world's leading FX banks, such as UBS, Barclays and Goldman Sachs, to name a few, provide us with deep liquidity - several billion dollars in fact - and tight prices."

We do not offer segregated accounts for each client. We, as well as all forex dealers, are prohibited by the US Commodities Exchange Act rules and regulations. Our pool of client funds are held at our bank accounts with JP Morgan and Bank of America.

We do not offer bankruptcy protection. These are legitimate concerns, especially given the current market environment. This is why it is extremely important that clients deal with an industry leader such as GAIN Capital/ Forex.com. GAIN/Forex.com has a strong management team, balance sheet and income growth record, and has been regulated by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) since 2001. As a registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) and Forex Dealer Member (FDM), we must adhere to a strict net capital rule.  As of 1/31/08, GAIN’s net capital was over $50 million.

Regarding the trading against client positions and the arbitrator during a dispute between trader and our clearinghouse, please contact [email protected] as they are better suited to answer these questions.

Your account would not be closed as a winning trader, nor will be account privileges be restricted.

We do not manipulate prices. You are free to trade during the news, but market volatility caused by news and economic number releases could hinder your ability to place trades. Scalping is allowed and we are not an ECN.

I hope this was beneifical.
